September 2024 Wedding Highlight Reel

In September 2024, I had the opportunity to produce, film, and edit my first wedding video. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that allowed me to apply creativity, learn new techniques, and refine my skills. I am deeply grateful to the couple for trusting me with capturing their special day and allowing me to bring my creative vision to life.

I was responsible for all aspects of production, including filming, editing, and color grading the video. I curated impactful footage, integrated audio from the ceremony and speeches, and enhanced the narrative with carefully selected b-roll, sound mixing, speed ramping, and color correction. The result was a seamless, emotionally engaging story that beautifully captured the essence of their wedding day.

Athlete Ruby Krasnow NCAA Nationals Sendoff

Senior Ruby Krasnow, a Cross Country athlete at Clark University, qualified and competed at the 2024 NCAA National Championship Meet.

I produced, filmed, conducted interviews, and edited this video for Clark University Athletics' Instagram, focusing on Krasnow’s preparation and mindset leading up to the race. I interviewed Ruby and Coach Andrea Keklak to capture their insights, incorporating b-roll to complement their key talking points. Additionally, I included closed captions to ensure the video was accessible to all audiences.

Mic'd Up With Clark University Volleyball

At Clark University, I filmed and edited a mic’d-up social media video for Clark University Volleyball, capturing a player’s practice session in detail.

To capture the player’s commentary, I utilized Rode wireless lavalier microphones to ensure optimal sound quality while maintaining minimal disruption to the player’s movements. This allowed for clear, direct audio of the player’s thoughts, interactions, reactions, which added a personal and immersive layer to the video.

After reviewing three hours of raw footage, I selected the most compelling moments that best conveyed the energy of the player and session. The final 1:51 video was crafted to align with Instagram's visual style and fast-paced nature, using quick cuts, seamless transitions, and syncing the athlete's commentary with the on-court action. The result was an engaging and dynamic video that not only highlighted the athlete’s skills but also gave viewers an authentic, in-the-moment perspective of practice.

Clark University Volleyball Game Highlight

I enjoyed creating this piece for Clark University Volleyball, as it allowed me to apply my creativity in both sports filming and editing. As the producer, I captured dynamic footage during the team’s practice sessions and matches, focusing on key moments that highlight the energy and skill of the players. I utilized various camera angles, including close-ups and wide shots, to emphasize both individual athleticism and team dynamics.

In post-production, I edited the footage to sync with an energetic music track, crafting a visually compelling narrative that engages the audience. I paid close attention to the pacing and rhythm of the edit, ensuring that each moment flowed seamlessly with the music and kept viewers captivated throughout. The final product was designed to showcase both the intensity of the game and the spirit of Clark University Volleyball, resulting in an engaging and dynamic social media video.

As a Multimedia Marketing Intern at the Cornell Center for Regional Economic Advancement, I edited a promotional video for Rev: Ithaca Startup Works, highlighting a new hardware program within the company.

This longer cut video highlighted key aspects of CREA, its programs, and the potential impact the grant would have on both Cornell University and Rev. I was responsible for conducting interviews, filming on location, integrating archival b-roll, and editing the footage to ensure alignment with specific goals and brand standards. The video played a crucial role in effectively communicating the program’s value, significantly contributing to the successful receipt of the grant.

"Overdue" - A Poem Come to Life

"Overdue" was a film I created for a class project, where I was tasked with developing a character and their backstory, writing a poem from their perspective, and producing a video that visually captured their mental state.

In post-production, I employed various techniques, including adjusting the direction and opacity of multiple clips to create a layered, distorted effect that reflected the character's inner turmoil.

The film was awarded "Best Overall Poem Video" in May 2022 at the Roy H. Park School of Communications and was subsequently selected for submission to the Broadcast Education Association Media Festival.

My responsibilities included filming and editing b-roll, recording and integrating voiceovers, sound mixing, and handling various other technical aspects of the video production process.

I filmed and edited this project, which now serves as a prominent feature on the company’s official website.
