film, tv, & live event production

I am deeply passionate about all aspects of production, including video, live events, television series, films (both short and feature-length), and social media content. With extensive experience in transforming ideas into reality, I am well-versed in the entire production process, from pre-production through to the final edit. I excel at managing the logistical components of creative projects and thrive in finding structure and clarity amidst complexity.

Apple Harvest Festival Livestream - Executive Producer

Livestream link coming soon! For now, here are some behind the scene photos and pre-production documents I created for the live show.

During my Live Event Production Thesis course, I served as an Executive Producer for the Apple Harvest Festival Livestream. This project provided me with an invaluable opportunity to apply and expand my skills while producing one hour of live original content. Additionally, we constructed a remote studio and control room in the Ithaca Commons to facilitate the broadcast.

As one of four Executive Producers, my responsibilities included:

  • Developing the rundown and AV script for the event

  • Coordinating with Segment Producers to ensure that the content and technical elements of their packages aligned with the event's theme and targeted audience

  • Organizing and distributing key production materials, including video packages, transcripts, talent release forms, graphics, and Segment Producer documentation

  • Overseeing the casting process, including managing information and materials

  • Supervising the Director and Technical Director during the live stream to ensure the accuracy of on-screen content

  • Assisting with technical duties as needed, collaborating with the Technical Leads on equipment such as Singular Live, audio systems, and Teradek

This experience further honed my ability to manage complex projects while ensuring seamless collaboration among all production teams.

"Errand Day" Student Short Film - Producer

For a Production Management course, I served as Producer for the student film Errand Day, a thriller that follows a young woman’s descent into anger and madness, culminating in the murder of her ex-boyfriend.

As Producer, I was responsible for overseeing all facets of production, including but not limited to:

  • Developing and managing the budget, including securing a grant from Ithaca College

  • Creating and maintaining the production schedule using Movie Magic

  • Conducting script breakdowns

  • Securing locations, ensuring no additional costs to the film

  • Coordinating cast and crew release forms

  • Managing safety protocols and obtaining risk management approvals

This project greatly expanded my understanding of the production process, particularly in terms of logistics and resource management. I applied skills in effective communication, strong organization, and time management to ensure smooth operations throughout the production. Additionally, maintaining a positive, composed attitude was essential to ensuring success both on and off set.

Final film is in post-production! Enjoy some behind the scenes and stills until then.

ICTV Reports is a 30-minute news magazine program that airs on ICTV.org, providing coverage of local, state, and national news relevant to Ithaca and the surrounding communities.

As a Producer for the show, I was responsible for overseeing the content development and editing of Host and Correspondent packages, ensuring that each segment adhered to the show’s editorial standards and effectively conveyed relevant news stories.

In addition to content production, I played an integral role in the technical execution of each episode. This included managing the setup of audio and camera equipment both in the studio and on-location for field segments. My responsibilities also extended to coordinating with the production team to ensure smooth operations during filming, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal production quality.

During my time on the show, ICTV Reports was recognized with two prestigious awards from the New York State Broadcasters Association. The episode "A City of Progress" won "Best Overall News Magazine" and "Outstanding Public Affairs Program" in December 2021, reflecting the team's dedication to quality journalism and impactful storytelling.

This experience further honed my skills in both production management and technical execution, while also allowing me to contribute to a highly acclaimed news program.
